At Dhotrad’s Sunny Dental Clincis, we believe in providing comprehensive solutions to help patients maintain good health and bright smiles.

What is Full Mouth Rehabilitation (FMR)?

Patients with missing, uneven and/or damaged teeth may experience difficulty in speaking and chewing, and showing their best smile. Full mouth rehabilitation reconstructs the entire set of teeth to restore dental health to its optimal condition which improves appearance, quality of life and self-esteem. We provide the best quality dental restorations, implants and aesthetic dentistry and can help to recreate, whitened and/or replace your broken, chipped, or worn teeth in the mouth.

Who Requires a Full Mouth Reconstruction?

There are many who have dental problems throughout their mouths that must be treated comprehensively with a vision of a final result that improves both function and esthetics. These may include

• Multiple missing teeth due to decay or trauma
• Numerous teeth with large fillings that are failing
• Misaligned teeth that hampers your biting efficiency
• Short, severely worn or decayed teeth that are chipped and broken
• Experience teeth grinding and loss or worn teeth as a result of long-term acid erosion (foods, beverages, acid reflux)

Treatment Options for a Full Reconstruction

Dental Bridges

Dental Bridge or Fixed Partial Denture (FPD) is a fixed dental prosthetic. It can be handy in cases of partial tooth loss. A bridge, as the name suggests, forms a connection between two healthy teeth. The missing gap is filled with a replacement tooth or teeth.

A dental bridge is a false tooth that is held in place by the abutment teeth on either side of the gap. Although theses can be made from a variety of materials such as gold, typically it is made from porcelain to aesthetically blend in with the natural teeth to give a great smile.

Dental Crowns

A crown is basically a cap for a damaged or a fractured tooth. It is designed from a variety of materials, including metal or porcelain.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are titanium cylinders (screws) that are surgically placed into the jawbone where there are missing teeth below the gums. Once in place, they allow the dentist to mount replacement teeth onto them. The new tooth, a crown, looks and feels similar to the real teeth.

Inlays or Onlays

Inlays are a special type of filling that can address cavities and other damage, while onlays take care of more severe damage done to the cusps of a tooth. Both are cemented to the tooth after the damaged portion of the tooth is removed or prepared.

Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells that are attached to the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. They’re often made from porcelain or resin-composite materials and are permanently bonded to your teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a process of removing the stains or pigments from the exterior surface of the teeth to achieve natural white look of the teeth.
