TOOTH CARE FOR CHILDERN  


Brush


• Brush at least twice a day
• Use a brush with soft bristles
• Use fluoridated toothpaste
• Practice proper brushing technique
• Keep the brush clean and separate
• Know when to replace the toothbrush

Floss


• Use the right size
• Be gentle
• One tooth at a time
• Use inter dental cleaner

Avoid

• Acidic drinks
• Limit sugary food
• Using teeth for anything other than chewing food
• Injury to teeth

Practice

Visit the dentist regularly or immediately in case of any of the following problems
• Red, tender or swollen gums
• Gums that bleed when you brush or floss
• Gums that begin pulling away from your teeth
• Loose permanent teeth
• Unusual sensitivity to hot and cold
• Persistent bad breath or an unusual taste in your mouth
• Painful chewing
